Home Energy Storage

The home energy storage system adds lithium battery storage power on the basis of the traditional PV grid-connected power generation system, a new type of hybrid system of energy acquisition, storage and use combined by the battery, hybrid inverter and PV panel. The photovoltaic inverter converts solar energy into electricity for storage, and the storage inverter can complete the discharge of the battery by converting the current.

Thermally conductive interface materials that can be applied to home energy storage:

①Thermally conductive silicone grease (BN-GK1010, BN-GK2090, BN-GY2060) can be applied to the hybrid inverter part of the home energy storage power supply. Thermally conductive silicone grease has good wettability, which can reduce the thermal resistance of the contact interface and improve the heat dissipation efficiency.

②Two-component thermally conductive gel (BN-RT520) can be used in the photovoltaic inverter part, good thermal conductivity can improve the efficiency of heat transfer during the operation of the equipment as well as to extend the service life of the product. The two-component thermally conductive gel is a paste before use, and can be cured at room temperature or by heating after mixing the AB components 1:1. So it has very good plasticity. The state of two-component gel after curing is close to the thermal conductive gasket, with good reliability, anti-dangling flow and no penetrating cracks.

③Batteries generate large amount of heat when charging and discharging, attaching thermally conductive spacers (BN-FS series) on battery packs and PCBs can conduct the heat to heat sinks or casings to improve work efficiency. The softness and resilience of thermally conductive shims enable them to fill the gaps better.

④Thermally Conductive Potting Adhesive (BN-RT150, BN-RT400-5, BN-RT450) can be used for potting and sealing of inverter inductor blocks, and also for potting on the surface of PCB boards to improve the efficiency of the potting as a whole in terms of equalisation of heat and heat dissipation. It also provides anti-vibration, waterproof, anti-corrosion and flame retardant properties.

⑤ Bornsun Industrial's heat curing adhesive film (BNTK15) can not only improve the heat dissipation efficiency, and this product has a self-adhesive property after heating, which can be well bonded between the MOS tube and the heat sink, eliminating the need for a screw assembly process and reducing manufacturing costs.

⑥Thermal conductive insulating film (BNG600, BNG410) can be used for heat dissipation between inverter MOS tubes and heat sinks, and can be fastened with screws so that the thermal conductive insulating film can fully contact the interface between the heat source and the interface between the heat sinks to improve the efficiency of heat dissipation. Thermally conductive insulating film not only has good thermal conductivity but also has better electrical insulation properties.

Home energy storage can be applied to other materials:

①Flame retardant insulating film: When the home energy storage system works, it will generate a lot of heat, in order to avoid safety problems, so the product design must be done when the fire treatment. The flame retardant insulating sheets (BN-FP65, BN-FP, BN-ZD16) of Boon Industrial can be used between the battery pack and the shell, with good electrical insulation, flame retardant grade V-0 or above, and good weather resistance, which can help the energy storage power supply work safely and stably.
